Job Title: AOT Technician III at Agency of Transportation (District 1)
Overview
The Agency of Transportation (AOT) is seeking a reliable individual to join our Technician team in District 1. This role involves supporting technical and administrative tasks related to highway maintenance, repair, surveys, studies, testing, inspection, and safety for the Agency of Transportation District Maintenance and Fleet. Work is carried out in various settings, including offices, garages, roadways, and work sites. Basic knowledge of computer technology, PPE, and SDS is recommended. Effective communication, teamwork, integrity, and attention to detail are crucial.

Environmental Factors
Duties are typically performed in offices, laboratories, and field environments. Fieldwork may include exposure to various hazards and rough terrain in all weather conditions. Incumbents might need to carry equipment, traverse rough terrain, and travel in boats or work at heights. The role may also involve exposure to extreme weather and require out-of-state travel.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify, candidates need a Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in relevant fields combined with experience related to civil engineering projects or previous experience as an AOT Technician II.
Special Requirements
Selected candidates may need a valid driver's license for some positions.
