- MSN and DNP or PHD in nursing degree required
- Must have an active unencumbered Louisiana RN nursing license

- National certification through the AANP or ANCC required for FNP
- Must have reliable transportation with availability and willingness to travel to a variety of clinical practicum sites throughout the region, typically one site visit per 8-Week Session for each designated location, typically during weekday/daytime hours
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level; online teaching experience highly preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing practice in a clinical setting is Required
- Must have required subject matter expertise in the course of instruction.
- Faculty must have excellent communication, motivational, and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment.

_In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $850/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate's education and experience.
