- Financial reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Utilize software to manage accounting functions, streamline processes, and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Month-End Close: Assist in month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on budget creation, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
- Compliance and Audit: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and assist in audit preparations.
- Process Improvement: identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Assist with the day-to-day AP and AR transactions
- Proven experience: 5+ years accounting or in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- NetSuite software experience preferred.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principals.
- M&A experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.
- Willingness to handle the day to day needs of the department

Location: Scottsdale, AZ
As the Accounting Manager you will manage transactions including banking transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end entries and have a strong knowledge of accounting principles. The company is in heavy growth mode, having completed an acquisition in Q4 of 2023 and in the process of another.
