Job Description
As a Non Destruct Test Quality Inspector Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive tests and inspections on materials, components, and assemblies to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
You will utilize various testing methods, including ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing, to detect defects and irregularities.
Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our products.You will report directly to our Quality Engineer Supervisor and you'll work out of our Greer, SC location with an Onsite work schedule.
In this role, The NDT Level 2 Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of aerospace components by conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in accordance with NAS 410 standard and company procedures.
Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT). This role plays a critical part in supporting production and overall quality assurance efforts within the organization.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define testing requirements and specifications.
Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections using RT, UT, PT, and MT methods, as required.
Interpret and evaluate test results to determine compliance with specifications and standards.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records.
Assist in developing and refining NDT processes and protocols.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality personnel to address any non-conformances.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
Maintain NDT equipment and tools, ensuring they are calibrated and in optimal condition.
Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

YOU MUST HAVE
Expert knowledge of NDT methodologies and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with NDT equipment and software specific to the testing processes.
Certification to NDT Level 2 in the following methods at minimum: PT and MT, additional UT and RT methods desired.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality inspection role within an aerospace or manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of NDT principles, practices, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ASNT).
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexible and able to work weekends
