Summary

• This position involves providing direct clinical patient care
• The role includes assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per shift basis and at the unit level
• Supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated is also part of the role
• Accountable for supporting the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, the competency of clinical staff, and proper resource management related to patient care

Education

• Required: Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited institution
• Preferred: Completion of an academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's degree)

Certifications

• Required: Current license, certification, or registration to practice the profession as mandated by law, regulations in the state of practice, or organization policies. CPR certification
