    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT experience, Siemens scanner proficiency, and ARRT and BLS certification for a high-volume acute care environment.

    Responsibilities
    Position based in an acute care hospital with 233 staffed beds
    Work in the CT unit using three Siemens scanners handling both inpatient and ED cases

    Night shift schedule:
    Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 18:30 to 07:00, 3x12 hour shifts
    Staffed with two technologists per shift but may occasionally work independently
    No on-call or weekend shift requirements
    Uses EPIC for charting; EPIC experience required
    No floating to other units or facilities
    First-time travelers are accepted for this position
    Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
    Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract, with no time off during the first week of orientation
    Pewter scrubs are required per hospital policy
    Team-oriented environment with support from another technologist per shift
    Permanent employees must wait 1 year after employment before returning as a traveler
    Travelers may remain for up to 18 months with a required 3-month break after 18 months
    Paid orientation includes up to 16 hours for completion of required training modules
    No parking costs for employees

    Requirements
    Minimum 2 years of recent CT technologist experience required
    Experience operating Siemens CT scanners is required
    Current ARRT certification, ARRT Advanced, and BLS required
    Must be able to work night shifts and adapt to high patient volumes
    Experience with inpatient and emergency department cases is required
    Missouri state license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
    Pending state license accepted for IL candidates
