    Morgan Stanley Investment Management is searching for an Associate to provide analytical support to the Global Distribution organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analytical skills and knowledge of Tableau and Excel as well as a solid understanding of the Investment Management Industry.

    Essential Function:
    • Design & implement Tableau dashboards to analyze Global business results including AUM, Gross Sales, Net Flows and expenses.
    • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly business reviews and presentations
    • Create analysis and presentations relating to business goals, initiatives, and progress versus benchmarks
    • Run various daily, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports to assist senior management in making strategic decisions.
    • Work closely with other key MSIM contacts across the Global Sales organization
    • Identify opportunities for changes and implement initiatives to improve processes
    • Create and maintain reports across the full suite of MSIM/Eaton Vance products in support of the various sales teams to aid the sales process.
    • Develop relationships with key stake holders to ensure reporting needs are being met
    • Participate in systems and data integration initiatives.
    • Work closely with team manager to support process improvement initiatives and develop/create actionable reports and dashboards for organization.
    • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
    • Experience and knowledge of Investment Management business and practices
    • Strong, detailed financial and analytical skills
    • Self-starter with ability to work independently
    • Professional maturity, self-confidence, decisiveness and outstanding business judgment
    • Experience working with data and understanding of data
    • Ability to interact effectively and objectively with all levels of staff, including senior management
    • Ability to lead multiple projects / processes at the same time
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to use desktop tools to develop presentations for senior management (i.e., Excel & PowerPoint)
    • Prior experience in Tableau is preferred
    • Prior experience with Salesforce / CRM is preferred

    Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $120,000 year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
