$15,000 Sign-On Bonus after training for New Pilots
$Preferred consideration and transfer opportunities to over 350 rotor locations, coast to coast, across Global Medical Response.
The pilot position provides customer oriented, high quality air medical transport service in a safe and efficient manner.
The pilots are expected to act as a proactive and integral team player, both in flight, and during ground operations, utilizing communication and technical skills which will strengthen the company goal of being held in the highest regard with in the EMS industry.
Must be prepared to occasionally serve extra duty shifts when called upon, due to the absence of other pilots for vacation, sick leave, etc.
Ensures aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, these items to include, as described in the appropriate manuals, but not limited to:Aircraft cleanliness duties
All flight crew requirements
duty shift change form, load manifests, duty/time sheets, all within scheduled due dates.
Ensures that any and all pertinent information about flight operations will be disseminated to his/her shift change pilot and/or disseminated through the Company Communications Board per policy.
Attends meetings when required, and is available for training and check-flights outside of normal duty shift rotation.Upholds current company policies and procedures to systems and electronic platforms.
Knowledgeable in use and routine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
Complies with safety standards to assure safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment prior to liftoff.
Conducts aircraft safety briefings as needed.
Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
Other duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, either orally or in writing.
2000 hours total time (helicopter).1000 hours PIC (helicopter).
500 hours cumulative night experience.
Commercial Instrument Helicopter Rating.
Current Class II Medical Certificate.
Maintains a positive team attitude with flight crew members, maintenance technician and communications specialist by working cohesively.
Maintains ongoing knowledge of REACH Processes, Policies, Procedures, and SOP's as necessary.
Capable of lifting 75 lbs floor to bench height.
Ability to hear routine aircraft noises.
Maintains a "duty" weight (body weight + uniform/equipment - helmet not included) of less than 230lbs for Rotor Wing (Helicopter) operations.
Requires close and distant visual capability (Class 2 Aviation Medical).Periodic hands to key ability (typing).
This base is positioned on and provides service to a US Military Installation. Child Background Check (CBC), including digital and/or ink fingerprints
