- Collecting and recording patient data, updating nursing team on observations promptly. Taking vital signs, measurements, performing glucose monitoring, and assisting with urinary catheter care.
- Assisting patients with daily activities, answering calls, and may be assigned as a sitter for certain cases.
- Maintaining patient and unit records, as well as assisting with administrative tasks. Keeping work area organized and following department guidelines.
- Handling various administrative tasks such as preparing reports, purchase orders, and corresponding via computer programs.
- Interacting with visitors, answering phones, and communicating with the medical staff. Ensuring timely responses to patient calls.
- Completing errands, restocking supplies, and assisting in non-medical patient care activities.
- Attending meetings, in-services, and conferences within the unit.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Professional and positive attitude when dealing with patients, families, and colleagues.

- EDUCATION - High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
