    The Opportunity Our Westfield IN, Structural Heart location currently has an opportunity for an Industrial Engineer II.

    Working closely with the cross functional Value Stream teams, this position will design, develop, standardize and implement Lean Operations methods intended to continuously improve manufacturing system performance.

    Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.


    What You'll Work On:


    Provides both tactical and strategic input for identification and planning of department goals and budget, development, standardization and implementation of initiatives intended to improve the quality, cost and delivery performance of Division Operations.

    In conjunction with the Value Stream teams, supports productivity, quality, process efficiency, space utilization, standardization and lead time improvement efforts.

    Identifies opportunities and supports the incorporation of appropriate Lean tool usage such as 5S, time study, line balancing, standard work and material flow into the daily functions of the Value Stream teams.

    Collaborates with cross functional teams as required.
    Provides input into departmental budgeting processes as required. Understands work environment issues (i.e. OSHA regulations, etc.).Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
    Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
    Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.3-5 years Lean Manufacturing experience.
    Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
    Ability to coach, develop and influence others to accomplish projects.
    Demonstrated leadership capability in team settings.
    Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
    Ability to work in a highly matrixed business environment.
    Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
    Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner. Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
    Ability to travel approximately 5%, including internationally.
    PreferredManual Assembly Manufacturing experience preferred.

    The base pay for this position is $64,000.00 – $128, In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
