Description
Supports the programs deliverables by completing assessments and inspections.
Performs unit assessments and calculates square footage of home; inspects windows, doors, attic, crawl space, caulking, weather-stripping, holes in the building envelopes, roof condition, and the efficiencies of mechanical systems.
Enters home energy assessment data to track progress and metrics.
Conducts health and safety assessments of the home and provides recommendations for improvement measures.
Assesses single or multifamily dwelling units to assess if units are compliant with standard codes.
Provides client education for care and upkeep of equipment and home upgrades.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and experience equivalent to an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in industrial arts, business, or in a job related field of study.
Ability to work with energy audit, blower door, duct blaster, combustion analyzer, pressure pan, exhaust fan and flow meter. Skill in Microsoft Office Suite. Must pass proficiency exam of all listed skills and abilities within 24 Months of hire.
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments, and the general public.
Mandatory drug testing prior to employment and will be subject to random, unannounced drug and/or alcohol testing during employment. Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License, with a good driving record.Regular lifting of pounds, can withstand seasonal temperature changes, working in non-conditioned and/or confined spaces,
