Description

The Software Developer will directly assist the Senior Software Developer with a wide range of projects related to operational and process control systems for industrial manufacturing.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Modification, development and implementation of operational and process control computer systems.
Assist in creating reports for users via Business Intelligence or SQL reporting
Significant time must be spent on the shop floor working with and speaking with operators and engineers to evaluate system performance and find additional areas for improvement
Assist Maintenance Electronics, Senior Software Developer, Systems Engineer and Corporate IT in troubleshooting of hardware, software or network issues when necessary
Works with Systems Engineer and Senior Software Developer to provide minimum system down time for all users
Other projects as requested, including travel (locally, nationally and internationally), if required.
Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules
Must be available for situations that may arise outside the course of the regular workday or workweek.
Meets attendance requirements.
Performs other duties as deemed necessary.


EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE
:


EDUCATION:

Minimum Associate's Degree in Computer Science or similar field required, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field preferred


EXPERIENCE:

Basic knowledge of C++ or C# language required. SQL database experience preferred. Python basic knowledge preferred. Experience with industrial applications or manufacturing systems preferred.
