    Overview

    Drive different vehicles to and from project sites, including boom trucks and tractor trailers.

    Job Duties

    • Transport equipment to heavy highway and bridge construction projects, requiring a CDL
    • Perform construction tasks at project sites aside from driving vehicles
    • Operate machines by starting engines, moving throttles, switches, and levers
    • Assist in loading materials by signaling truck drivers
    • Ensure safety measures are taken to avoid hazards and obstacles
    • Conduct maintenance procedures on equipment
    • Troubleshoot and adjust equipment as needed
    • Complete any other assigned tasks

    Requirements

    • Must have a Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement, Hazmat, and Double Triples preferred
    • High School Diploma or GED preferred
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English
    • Physical ability to navigate construction sites, operate heavy equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds
    • Engage in strenuous physical activities throughout the workday
    • Manual dexterity for handling items and materials
    • Work outdoors in various weather conditions
