    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

     

    Shift: 12-hour shifts – varying start times

    • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
    • 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
    • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
    • Additional variable starts (9A, 11A, 7P)
    • Charting: MEDITECH

    Facility Overview

    • Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
    • Stroke Center
    • ASRH designation (State of North Dakota)
    • Level IV Trauma (State of ND)
    • 14 regular ER beds
    • 2 large trauma bays
    • Ratios: 1:3–5

    RNs are required to:

    • Read and interpret their own telemetry strips
    • Manage full-spectrum ED presentations (Peds → Geriatrics)

    May occasionally assist on:

    • Med/Surg (MSP)
    • ICU

    Required Certifications

    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • NIHSS
    • TNCC

    Radius Rule

    • 50-mile rule applies
