    As Loan Syndication Administrator, your primary responsibility is to coordinate the syndication process. This involves structuring the loan, determining the terms and conditions, and identifying potential syndicate members (other banks or financial institutions).

    YOUR IMPACT

    The essential functions of this position include:

    • Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with potential syndicate members and negotiate terms with them. This requires excellent communication and negotiation skills to ensure that the syndication process proceeds smoothly, and all parties are satisfied with the terms.
    • Risk Assessment: Assessing the creditworthiness of the borrower and evaluating the risks associated with the loan is crucial. Work closely with credit analysts to conduct due diligence on the borrower and mitigate potential risks.
    • Documentation: Prepare the necessary documentation for the syndicated loan, including the loan agreement, term sheet, and any other legal documents required for the transaction.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines is essential. Stay updated on regulatory changes that may affect the syndication process and ensure that all aspects of the transaction comply with legal requirements.
    • Closing and Administration: Oversee the closing process, ensuring that all documentation is properly executed. The Loan Syndication Administrator may also be involved in ongoing administration of the loan, including monitoring payments and compliance with covenants.
    • Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market conditions and trends. Understand prevailing interest rates, investor appetite for syndicated loans, and other factors that may impact the syndication process.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree, Finance or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent experience
    • Strong understanding of syndicated loan products, market conventions, and regulatory requirements
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

    POSITION SPECIFICS

    The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $28.85 and $33.65 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.     If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
