Primary Objective of Driver Position

To serve hotel guests during
their stay by making it easier and more enjoyable to arrive, check in and stay
at the property.

Responsibilities

• Providing transportation for hotel guests to/from the airport, cruise ship and train stations and various local attractions
• Keep track of flights for airline crews
• Restock crew lounge
• Escorts incoming hotel guests to rooms and assists guests with luggage.
• Attends and participates in front office meetings.
• Inspects guest's room to ensure that it is in order and that supplies are adequate.
• Explains features of room such as operation of radio, television, telephone, in-room movie system, etc.
• Offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions.
• Pages guests in lobby, dining rooms or other parts of property.
• Delivers messages and runs errands.
• Maintains courtesy van consisting of washing, cleaning, and fueling.
• Raises, lowers, and ensures proper handling of American flag.
• Maintains lobby in a clean and tidy manner; this includes, but is not limited to ashtrays, trash, seating areas, front doors, floors, etc.
• Requires clean driving record, preferably with class B license

Other duties may be assigned as needed

Physical Demands & Work Environment

While
performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand;
walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or
hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to climb or
balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, as well as frequently lifting
and/or moving up to 100 pounds. The
employee must also be able to go up and down a flight of stairs while carrying
100 pounds. The employee is sometimes
exposed to outside weather conditions and the noise level in the work environment
is usually moderate.
