    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    Required


    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University with a major in Social Services, Education, Non-Profit Management, or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum 7-10 years of experience managing multiple programs in a non-profit organization or within a school setting; child serving organization preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, leading and coaching others.
    • Must be proficient in office applications such as Word, Excel, etc.; must be capable of compiling data and reports.
    • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills; will be required to represent Pace at certain speaking engagements.
    • Demonstrated experience working with diverse groups where team-building and problem-solving skills are utilized to maintain program stability.
    • Current Florida driver's license.
    Preferred


    • Master's degree from an accredited College or University with a major in Social Services, Education, or Non-Profit Management.
    • Experience in gender-responsive programming.
    • Direct Experience in program management or oversight of program operations.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Innovation and Program Expansion


    • Ability to integrate the Pace Mission, Values & Principles, Culture and Foundational Pillars into programming efforts.
    • Able to comprehend and integrate a program logic model into full operations.
    • Successfully assist in moving new program initiatives into full implementation.
    • Foster collaborations across organizational structures/teams when initiating community collaboratives, programs and projects.
    • Able to utilize innovative thinking and approaches to solve critical problems to improve the delivery of services.
    • Conduct ongoing research and be aware of latest trends, data, research and findings in order to move the organization forward.
    Operations


    • Advise and inform the Center Program Management team on matters regarding program service delivery, program development strategies, compliance, risk management, and external regulations or contractual agreements.
    • Support program operations in compliance with DJJ, LEAs, and grant contracts.
    • Ensure all core Pace services are provided in accordance with the organization's guidelines and Standard
    Operating Procedures.


    • Provide technical support on program delivery to safeguard center(s) function with a gender-responsive, strength-based, and trauma-informed approach as well as through the lens of a girl's developmental domains.
    • Ensure the implementation of therapeutic, social services and academic components are effectively administered by the center management team.
    • Assess supports needed for center program and collaborate with center management to identify strategies to address.
    • Provide subject matter expertise, coaching and training for program service delivery.
    • Ensure oversight and adherence to Pace Policy and Procedures, the Quality Assurance Review process in collaboration with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), School Board Contract, Compliance and Grant/Contract monitoring.
    • Partner with center management to interpret KPI's and other data points to determine strengths and opportunities for growth within a center.
    • Collaborate with center management to develop trainings, timelines, and accountability milestones to support the center's strategic growth towards an effective and efficient implementation of the Pace model.
    Staff Support


    • Collaborate with center leadership and Senior Director of Program Operations to identify and address ongoing development needs of staff.
    • Provide support (training, guidance) to center management team on the Pace strategic organizational goals.
    • Knowledgeable of all program policies and supports center staff in developing trainings
    • Reviews and updates all program policies annually and ensures center staff is trained.
    • Develops and provides program leadership orientation across the organization.
    • Designs and implements new program staff orientation in collaboration with all departments. Skills
    • Proven ability to think strategically and to translate strategic directives into tactical initiatives.
    • Proven ability to drive cross-functional teams to ensure compliance in all program components.
    • Ability to interpret Florida State Statutes, Department of Juvenile Justice's regulations, School Board Policies, and other prospective partners' expectations to ensure program compliance.
    • Ability to assess complex problems and provide the appropriate compliance solutions.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Superior analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Skilled in project management, creative, open to change, flexible and resourceful.
    • Demonstrate the ability to handle diverse projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and effectively manage workflow to meet deadlines.
