Job Summary

DCG/Watershed is currently seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist to support project efforts while enhancing brand awareness within the industry.

This person will work on efforts to retain current clients and attract potential clients in the public and private sectors.

As a member of a four-person marketing team, this addition will support the marketing manager and collaborate with engineers and environmental services professionals on various projects.

Projects range from small private contracts to large, complex, multi-year engagements with municipal, county, and state agencies. We are looking for this innovative specialist to support our Kirkland office in a hybrid capacity.
Preparation of statements of qualifications and proposals.
Creation of marketing materials, such as resumes and project descriptions.
Graphic design support for project work, including covers, posters, and handouts
Coordination of full marketing campaigns.
Development and design of marketing collateral, including posters and displays, cutsheets, fliers, and ads.
Management of firm's online presence, including website, blog, and social media.
Management of firm's advertising, including writing and designing ads for print and online.
Preparation of materials for conferences, including slideshows and displays.
Complete other related project coordination duties, as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in communications, graphic design, marketing, or related field OR four years of relevant experience, plus
5 years of experience in a marketing or graphic design role
Demonstrated experience preparing SOQs/proposals
Desired Education and Experience

More than 5 years of experience in a marketing or graphic design role
Experience in marketing for a services-based organization
Experience in or knowledge of engineering, environmental science, environmental planning, and/or landscape architecture industries
Experience with Squarespace

Writing marketing materials and blog posts
Translating technical work and writing into marketing materials
Social media management
Excellent InDesign skills – efficient workflow using templates and paragraph, character, and object styles
Superb Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Creative Suite/Creative Cloud programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
Total Compensation

$26 – 36/hr., full-time
