    Key Responsibilities
    Program and deploy PLC, HMI and MES improvements
    Support continuous improvement initiatives
    Train and develop maintenance machine repair technicians and electricians
    Support plant initiatives to drive safety, quality and delivery
    Initiate and implement repairs and improvements processes and equipment
    Investigate production and quality issues using problem solving and root cause analysis techniques
    Research, test, purchase and integrate parts and new equipment
    Plan and design new projects regarding both in internal projects and new launches
    Enforce and follow safety procedures, being attentive to unsafe behaviors or conditions and taking necessary corrective actions
    Automation expert in the plant
    PLC and electrical troubleshooting support
    Participate in regional expert circles and standardization
    Supporting and testing new equipment standards before implementation
    Support and train in launch and production equipment
    Involvement in equipment design review and sign off.

    Qualifications and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree preferred in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
    2 – 3 years of engineering experience
    Proficiency in PLC programming, drives, cameras, servos, ignition, and robot programming a plus
    Experience drawing and updating electrical schematics
    Experience in Siemens TIA Portal preferred

    Physical Requirements:
    Up to 10 lbs. of force
    Limited walking and occasional prolonged standing when on the plant floor
    Limited carrying, lifting/exerting force up to 20 lbs.
