Job summary
The Principal Technical Advisor - Radiochemist will provide expert leadership, oversight, and technical guidance to resolve complex issues related to radiochemistry and radiobioassay.
- Provide technical expertise in radiochemical separation techniques including ion separation column technologies
- Develop new methods in radiochemistry techniques while mentoring other staff members.
- Conduct radiological detection measurements experience; data review(validation quality control of datasets.
- Mentor junior technical staff for development of their skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in physical science (e.g., chemistry physics biology) engineering (chemical nuclear electrical mechanical) with 15-20 years' experience preferably in nuclear-related assignments
- Advanced degree Master's PhD/Doctorate preferable would proportionally reduce years required PhD in radiochemistry preferred
