About the Job:

The role of Therapist III is a crucial one within the multidisciplinary team, focusing on delivering direct clinical services to clients and their families. This involves diagnosing and treating a variety of mental and emotional disorders, including cognitive, affective, and behavioral conditions.

Key responsibilities include completing Psychosocial Assessments, conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions, facilitating psycho-educational training, collaborating in program development, creating and reviewing Treatment Plans, and establishing connections with external resources.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Performs psychosocial assessments and formulates initial discharge plans.
• Designs and executes treatment plans based on assessments, coordinates additional services, and adjusts plans as required.
• Conducts individual, group, or family sessions according to the client's treatment plan.
• Utilizes psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to address diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders in individuals and families.
• Takes part in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings, presenting relevant client information and suggesting effective interventions.
• Manages an assigned caseload and creates special client groups or program modules.
• Prepares progress notes and treatment updates promptly, maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Develops structured post-care plans for each client and serves as a liaison to referral sources to ensure continuity of care.
• Provides crisis intervention to clients and families experiencing acute distress.
• Offers initial coordination and introductions to various community resources to support clients' needs.
• Conducts case management, discharge planning, or after-care coordination in alignment with treatment plans.
• Assists in staff education on behavior management or therapeutic crisis intervention.
• Coordinates clinical, psychosocial, or educational activities with clients and families.
• Assesses clients' requirements for potential referrals to other programs or facilities.
• Participates in training new clinical staff and interns when needed.
• Requires a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology. Licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT is mandatory.

• Minimum of four years of therapist experience, with at least two years working with the specific population of the facility.
