Valor Healthcare is looking for a passionate Psychologist to join our team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Bloomington, IL.

Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) is an evidence-based model of collaborative care which seeks to expand mental health access, assessment, and treatment in the outpatient primary care setting.
Clinicians in this role will undergo training for the model through their local VA and must pass the certification process.
PCMHI clinicians provide brief, solution focused interventions for veterans. Candidates' degree requirement (PhD or Masters level) depends on the requirements of the local VA.No on call, weekends off, 11 federal holidays, and increasing PTO the longer you stay with Valor.
Only 6-10 patients a day with plenty of administrative support.
Access to Medical through Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Dental, Vision options.
Annual performance reviews to discuss goals, raises, concerns, etc.
Great support system through clinic management peers, HR, Recruiting department, all the way up to the executive level.
Maintains confidentiality of patient data and information.
Refers patient to the VA medical specialist when indicated.
Develop and implement patient management plans and assists in provision of continuity of care through the PCMM (Primary Care Management Module).
Evaluates patients records from medical providers outside the VA and works with these patients utilizing rules set forth by the VA for co-managed care.
Responsible for participating in Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement activities and staff meetings.Fulfill compliance requirements of the Office of Inspector General (OIG), Joint Commission(JC), Environment of Care (EOC) oversight, lab compliance and other related items.
Must provide excellent customer service to each veteran and his/her family, both in person and over the phone, as well as to fellow colleagues and clinic visitors.
Participate in the clinic's outreach events to help support the clinic's enrollment initiatives.Doctor of Psychology Degree, from an APA approved program (with APA approved internship).
Minimum, 1-year of practice (treating adult patients).
