    Description

    Job Title: Chief Engineer

    Location: Bloomfield, CT

    Employment Type: Full Time

    Experience: 10+ years in mechanical design and implementation of engine systems

    Qualifications:

    • Degreed engineer (MS or PhD a plus)
    • 10+ years of relevant experience
    • Expertise in assembly design and integration of engines and associated systems
    • Technically deep with experience in combustion engines, thermofluid components, and electromechanical systems
    • Proficient in design and simulation tools (SolidWorks a plus)
    • Exceptional verbal and written communicator

    Duties: As Chief Engineer, you will lead technical aspects of the project engineering team to bring a version of the company's breakthrough rotary HEHC X-engine design to commercialization. Responsibilities include overseeing design, testing, and development work, managing a growing project engineering team, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.

    • Complex combustion engine system assembly integration and packaging
    • Electro-hydraulic-mechanical Design/Simulation
    • Solidworks; CAD, FEA, Simulation
    • Hands-On approach to work; Design, Build, and Testing
    • Project Management and Presentation skills; MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, Excel
