Our business development team serves a worldwide client base selling a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution to the real estate and property management industries while going through digitalization.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Prospect, email, and call daily
    • Personalize value-based outreach by learning about the prospect prior to your outreach
    • Establish conversations for new business opportunities
    • Identify specific pains in prospects' current processes or potential needs the Buildium product can provide
    • Schedule phone calls or meeting demonstrations with our closing sales team
    • Partner and strategize directly with a closing Sales Consultant in a 1:1 pairing relationship
    • Continue to work with the sales consultant to ensure a smooth transition and a successful sales process to closed-won business.
    • Carry out all responsibilities in an honest and professional manner

    Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

    • 1-2 years of experience in sales/customer service/cold calling/real estate
    • Desire and commitment to a career in sales and work towards a closing role
    • Hunter Mentality. A self-starter who has the desire to learn and grow in the role
    • Possess a strong work ethic and eager to make new connections with prospects
    • Interest in learning about our industry and challenging yourself to be an expert
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Demonstrated ability to work alone/remotely as well as being a productive member of a team
    • Excellent problem solver, willing to collaborate in a competitive environment
    • Not required but nice to have: familiar with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft
    • Bachelor degree preferred
