    Job Summary and Qualifications

    We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Medical Assistant to champion patient care and be a vital part of our supportive team. Your expertise will help us deliver the high-quality service that our patients deserve.

    As a Medical Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

    • Preparing patients for examinations and treatments by recording histories and taking vital signs
    • Setting up exam and treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterilized
    • Administering injections and assisting with lab tests and phlebotomy as needed
    • Helping physicians in applying splints, dressings, and bandages
    • Coordinating patient follow-up care and schedules
    • Managing patient physicals and workplace injuries
    • Screening calls for appropriate referrals to medical professionals

    Qualifications:

    • At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred
    • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is beneficial
    • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program is required
    • Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is a plus
    • The ability to obtain required federal screening certifications within 30 days is preferred
