Job summary
This position will report to the Plant Manager and will coordinate manufacturing activities in order to achieve operational goals.This production manager job oversees all aspects of plant operations including production planning scheduling inventory control personnel management safety quality control maintenance purchasing procurement logistics transportation supply chain management customer service delivery metrics line fill packaging labeling etc.
Responsibilities include ensuring all safety guidelines are followed implementing lean manufacturing concepts driving continuous improvement initiatives monitoring scrap systems managing physical inventory activities developing motivating staff by promoting teamwork cooperation employee morale engagement creating value through cost-saving opportunities.
