Luther Home is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse who is compassionate, dependable, and energetic to join our team Do you like working weekends and having your days off during the week? Well we have a weekend shift for you We are currently hiring 6a-6p Friday-Sunday.

\*\*\*Must work 3 weekends PER MONTH\*\*\*

Responsibilities will include:

* Provide all patient care in a manner that demonstrates respect for patient rights, dignity, values, culture preferences, and expressed needs
* Assess patient's physical, psychological, and social needs
* Monitor and assess patient's pain and implement appropriate pain management techniques
* Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in condition for patient's while maintaining accurate medical records
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician and monitor for any side effects or adverse reactions
* Review and document patient history, symptoms, assessments, tests, and care according to guidelines
* Supervise other licensed staff and nurse aides
* Educate patient and family on managing injuries and illnesses to ensure a safe and successful discharge

Qualifications:

* Graduate of a credited school of nursing and must possess an active LPN license for WI
* CPR certified
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful times
* Strong critical thinking skills
* Dedicated to provide the best patient care possible Must have general working knowledge of computers and department specific software
