- Prepare, review, and update privacy compliance documentation in coordination with program officials for review and approval by the Client Name/agency Privacy Branch and ultimately the Agency Privacy Office
- Privacy documentation requiring development and/or revisions includes:
- Privacy Threshold Analyses
- Privacy Impact Assessments
- Information Sharing Access Agreements
- Systems of Records Notice
- Assessments of planned surveys and information collections under the Paperwork Reduction Act
- Act as a liaison between program officials and the agency privacy branch to ensure the prompt preparation and approval of privacy compliance documentation.
- 3+ years of experience in a consulting environment with a focus on federal clients.
- 2+ years of experience directly related to privacy and security operations, including enforcement of the Privacy Act, the E-Government Act, and the Federal Information Management Security Act
- Experience in developing, conducting, and enhancing privacy impact assessments in large organizations.
- Experience in communicating privacy risks and mitigations to system owners and administrators.
- Experience in developing and documenting business process improvement documentation, gap analyses, and risk management artifacts.
- Experience in implementing tools and frameworks to support clients' future-state business initiatives.
- Experience in writing reports, briefings, and decks and presenting them to clients in a professional and influential manner.
- Experience in building relationships with senior federal officials and managing stakeholders accordingly.
- Efficient in completing individual tasks, working collaboratively, and showing proactiveness with minimal guidance.
- Capable of critical thinking and analyzing a wide array of complex problems.
- Bachelor's degree
- US citizenship
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification
- Law or another Advanced Degree
- Detailed understanding of emerging privacy trends, tools, and legislative developments
- Experience in implementing Privacy by Design practices into information systems.
- Experience with project management tools such as Google Sites, Microsoft Project, Slack, JIRA, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner, etc.

Savan is searching for a seasoned Senior Privacy Analyst with extensive expertise in privacy and security process analysis to collaborate with program officials in submitting various privacy compliance documentation to the FEMA Privacy Branch. The Senior Privacy Analyst will play a vital role in our delivery team, engaging directly with clients and providing insights on privacy activities within an agency's privacy program. The ideal candidate will feel at ease interacting with senior management, offering support in program implementation, and giving recommendations for process enhancement, both verbally and in writing. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills across diverse audiences and will excel in providing compelling recommendations and supporting documentation.
