Job Title: Senior Linux Systems Engineer

We're looking for a TS/SCI cleared Senior Linux Systems Engineer to support our customer and ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
Contribute to completion of specific engineering programs and projects.
Develop solutions to complex engineering problems.
Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from start to end.
Oversee complex infrastructure, including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
Perform complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology.
Coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
Serve as a team or task lead.

Requirements:

Education: BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Qualifications: 8+ years of related experience.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance required and able to pass a CI polygraph.
Required Skills: Linux systems administration.

Preferred Skills:

Deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge in one or more of the others:

Operational support.
Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng).
Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Ceph storage platform.
GitLab.
Scripting/Coding (Bash, Python, etc.).
Kubernetes.
Ansible.
Helm charts.
Automation.
