No nights, no weekends, and no major holidaysWe are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our accounting operations across multiple entities.
The successful candidate will manage the financial stewardship of the organizations, encompassing end-of-month closings, reconciliations, and the overall financial health of our entities.
This position will oversee day-to-day accounting activities and personnel, work closely with our founder and leadership team, and work closely with our Accounting Manager and a team of Staff Accountants to plan, organize, and direct all daily accounting functions.
The ideal candidate has integrity, possesses excellent communication skills, and will bring value to our companies through their overall common sense and ability to think strategically.
We are looking for personable, easily approachable, and detail-oriented candidates.Key Responsibilities:
Direct oversight, management, and support of accounting department and personnelOversees all accounting operations for multiple entitiesProcesses bimonthly payroll for multiple entitiesLeads and supervises the Accounting Manager, ensuring effective management of AR, AP, & PayrollDevelops and implements consistent accounting policies, practices, & procedures to maintain financial integrityCollaborates with leadership team on the development and implementation of new programs and initiativesPrepares accurate and timely financial reports, including consolidated reporting and cost allocationsCoordinates annual insurance renewal activities across multiple entities and propertiesManages and leads budgeting and forecasting processes, including quarterly reviewsEnsures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, & accounting standards
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field10+ years of professional accounting experience5+ years in a Controller or Senior Accounting Management roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and financial reportingExcellent leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing teamsProficient in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Business Central, and Microsoft Office SuitePowered by JazzHRXIwrcx3IDi#J-18808-Ljbffr
