    The Role

    We're seeking a talented and strategic Content & Communications Manager to join our team. You'll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive B2B tech PR and Media Relations strategy that drives brand awareness, and content creation to maintain thought leadership and support lead gen efforts.

    This is a multifaceted role that requires a strong understanding of the B2B tech landscape, exceptional writing and editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple PR agencies, and media partners in a variety of content formats and channels. You'll wear many hats, overseeing PR Releases, media relations, social media, blog content, and webinar production, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all content.

    *The role is hybrid (2 days) from our Santa Clara, CA office.

    SALARY: $150-165/year.

    Responsibilities:

    PR & Media Relations:

    • Develop and execute strategic public relations campaigns to drive positive brand awareness and media coverage for LinkedIn across various channels.
    • Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, influencers, and industry analysts.
    • Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials to secure placements in top-tier publications and broadcasts.
    • Monitor media trends and identify opportunities to position LinkedIn as a thought leader on relevant industry topics.
    • Manage media inquiries, prepare spokespersons for interviews, and ensure consistent messaging across all communications.
    • Collaborate with the PR agencies to pitch content assets to relevant media outlets.
    • Work with internal stakeholders (engineering, product marketing, sales) to develop content.
    • Edit, proofread, and ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and messaging.

    Content Creation & Promotion:

    • Develop produce and manage webinar programs together with eco-system partners to educate the market and promote thought leadership.
    • Manage social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter) to promote content and engage with target audiences.
    • Develop and execute content promotion strategies through various channels (e.g., email marketing, influencer outreach).
    • Track and analyze content performance using relevant metrics (webinars, paid media, social media engagement).

    Content Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop a data-driven content marketing strategy aligned with overall business goals.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities.
    • Create and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent content flow.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and adapt content strategy accordingly.
    • Analyze the effectiveness of PR and media relations efforts, and recommend continuous improvement strategies.
    • Report on content marketing ROI and identify areas for improvement.
    • Use data insights to inform future content strategy and tactics.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B tech content marketing.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing strategies.
    • Strong understanding of the B2B tech landscape and current industry trends.
    • Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on clear, concise, and engaging B2B tech communication.
    • Experience managing and collaborating with vendors, agencies, and freelancers.
    • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
    • Solid understanding of content analytics tools and data-driven decision making.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

    Bonus Points:
