    One of our clients, an oncology office, is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team.
    The position is full-time with a great compensation and benefits package.

    Job Description:The Medical Assistant will be an integral part of the healthcare team, handling both administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care.

    This role will involve maintaining patient medical records with strict confidentiality, assisting practitioners during procedures, and coordinating daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
    Responsibilities & duties:
    • Recording patient medical histories, vitals, and test results, while ensuring the confidentiality of all patient information.
    • Managing daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and maintenance of medical records.
    • Preparing treatment rooms for examinations and assisting during medical procedures.
    • Providing compassionate support and assistance to patients and their families.
    • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
    • Administering medications to patients as directed by physicians.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Certification from a recognized medical assistant program or military medical corpsman program.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a medical setting.
    • High school diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
    • Basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, coding procedures, and clinical pharmacology appropriate for the scope of medical assistant practice.
    • Proficiency with electronic medical health care record systems.
