About the Role

As a Summer Intern on the Car Audio Strategy & Business Management team, you will act as an individual contributor focused on applying artificial intelligence to improve business planning, strategic analysis, and team efficiency. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world strategy work while partnering closely with senior team members to research, test, and deploy AI-enabled tools that enhance decision-making. In this role, you will report to the Director of Strategic Alliances.

What You Will Do

• Create an AI Playbook to support the Car Audio Sales & Strategy team, outlining practical applications of AI in business planning and strategy development.
• Research how leading technology companies leverage AI in strategy, forecasting, and operational planning, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Business & Strategy team members to identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI tools and workflows.
• Develop best practices for using AI in scenario planning, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
• Build or support AI agents to monitor competitor activity, consolidate insights from multiple sources, and integrate findings into strategy discussions.
• Evaluate AI capabilities in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and related productivity tools, and train team members on key learnings.
• Support improvements in file management, operational trackers, and documentation processes to enhance team efficiency.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Strong interest in business strategy, market analysis, and technology-driven problem solving.
• Comfort working with AI tools and digital platforms, with a willingness to experiment and learn new technologies.
• Ability to organize information from multiple sources into clear, concise insights and recommendations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.

Bonus Points if You Have

• Experience using or experimenting with generative AI tools or building simple AI agents.
• Coursework or projects related to strategy, analytics, artificial intelligence, or business technology.
• Proficiency in working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and other data analysis tools.

What Makes You Eligible

• Must be currently enrolled in a related Bachelor's Degree program or higher at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
• Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
• Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan.
• Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Must provide full work availability from May 18, 2026 through August 7, 2026 and be able to work 40 hours per week

Freshman: $19.00
Sophomore: $21.00
Junior: $23.00
Senior: $24.00  
Master: $28.00 
 

Dependent on the internship offered, pay is based on factors, including without limitation, the applicant's level of education and business need.
