Job summary
The Neurosurgeon provides comprehensive neurosurgical care to patients within a VA medical facility delivering high-quality outpatient inpatient and operative services in accordance with nationally recognized clinical standards. This role includes direct patient care surgical procedures postoperative management and participation in quality improvement activities.- Provide outpatient neurosurgery clinic services including evaluation diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Perform neurosurgical operative procedures within granted clinical privileges.
- Conduct inpatient consults bedside evaluations and follow-up care.
