Taking charge as the lead engineer, you'll oversee the delivery of engineering design outputs for projects and, when requested, bid proposals.
Your responsibilities extend to managing the technical scope of the project/proposal or a designated sub-area.Job Duties:
Ensuring the safety of plant designsConsidering environmental impacts in designConducting relevant reviews as per procedures and customer contracts (e.g., Design Reviews, Risk Assessments)
Ensuring compliance with local legislation and regulations for engineering designOwning the engineering execution model throughout the project lifecycleInterpreting contractual requirements, defining design deliverables, and creating a plan for the design phaseGenerating and maintaining the time schedule for the engineering phaseIdentifying resource needs and keeping resource managers informed of ongoing changesEnsuring coherent integration of all scope elements/sub-systems and clear definition of external interfacesCapturing, storing, and maintaining design information in a structured and accessible locationQualifications:
Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline (e.g., Process, Mechanical, Electrical)Experience in Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and other hygienic industriesExperience leading technically oriented teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) is advantageousSAP experience is beneficialSterling is an equal opportunity employer.
