**JOB SUMMARY**
This position performs various quality engineering functions and associated support tasks in developing knowledge and experience in the areas of Quality Assurance/Document Control/Design Control. This includes working to support Design Control projects as well as other duties in support of the Quality System, Design Control System, Document Control, Manufacturing, and the R&D/Product Development departments.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Writes test protocols and reports.
+ Conducts basic product testing.
+ Assists Quality engineers with several risk management and Validation & Verification activities.
+ Researches and reviews complaints data for assigned projects.
+ Assists engineers with other product development activities.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
+ Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program majoring in an appropriate scientific or engineering field.
**LANGUAGE SKILLS**
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write simple reports and business correspondence.
**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**
+ Ability to perform basic to moderate mathematical calculations.
**REASONING ABILITY**
+ This position requires good judgment.
+ All product and process development are to be carried out according to the applicable laws and regulations.
+ When in doubt, the incumbent should source out the appropriate information via internal and external resources.
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, talk or hear.
+ The employee will sometimes be required to move around in manufacturing facility or meet with medical professionals in hospital environment.
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
+ Some lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
+ No special work environment conditions other than minimal exposure to manufacturing environment (i.e. noise, minimal heat and some chemical fume exposure), laboratory, and hospital settings.
