I am with an accounting search firm collaborating with a company in search of a permanent Bookkeeper. This role is within a stable and professional organization offering growth opportunities, excellent benefits, and close collaboration with the executive team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Record financial transactions accurately, coding entries to ledger accounts.
• Manage payroll, billing, accounts receivable, vendor invoices, and accounts payable.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee timesheets and expense reports.
• Handle reimbursement payments and journal entries.
• Coordinate with external accounting services, vendors, customers, and financial institutions for the companys accounting functions.
• Verify vendor accounts through monthly reconciliation of statements and related transactions.
• Process payroll and address any issues with ADP.
• Communicate with employees and vendors to resolve issues related to invoices, timesheets, and expense reports.
• Provide assistance in various accounting areas as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associates degree in accounting or business.
• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, billing, and payroll.
• Detail-oriented with a working knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, ADP WorkforceNow, and SAP Concur is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
