    Excitingly Kantar Media has partnered with the ANA to build a new Cross-Media Measurement panel in the United States, that will be one of the first of its kind in the world. We are seeking a HR Manager who has a solid background and expertise in setting up new teams and services, and who can provide a great employee experience and ensure the success of this audience measurement panel for ANA and Kantar Media.

    This is a unique opportunity to influence and shape a new team/business from the start within a support network of an established HR function. This role would suit an experienced HRBP / Manager looking to make their mark and the next step in their career.

    Business Context

    Kantar Media are experts in understanding the changing media landscape. Our Audience Measurement teams are charged with developing innovative approaches to measurement and that is where the new US panel comes in. The panel has been designed to address the needs of advertisers, who want to understand and plan campaigns across digital and broadcast platforms (from TikTok to CBS to YouTube) weve pulled together all our latest thinking, our most up-to-date meters, and our relationships with the online publishers such as Google and Meta, and the result is something that we believe is the future of audience measurement.

    Job Details

    You will work closely with the US leaders and a TA specialist to hire and train the US managers and their teams in the first 6 months. After that, you will transition to regular tasks and advise leaders at all levels (from mid-level to executive) on employee performance, organizational development, pay, and other HR functions.

    You will report to the Chief People officer and be ready to handle any challenge in the set-up phase while keeping the long term goal of building a high-performing team fast.

    You will also promote the culture and lead the change for your local market and cooperate with KMs global and regional HR team to get support from all HR areas. You will create a positive environment and become a reliable partner for the business.

    KEY OUTCOMES

    • Provide strategic business/ thought partnership to all levels (including executive leaders) of the organization and able to create sustainable solutions that drive business performance.
    • Partner with your finance colleagues to support the market in delivering both commercial and operational success.
    • Lead the day-to-day HR initiatives, support and guide managers through the process of performance management, employee development, employee relations, etc.
    • Proactively assess team, manager, organizational development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.
    • Coach and support managers to ensure they understand the importance of identifying, attracting, and selecting the best talent for Kantar while championing finding the hidden opportunities for career and performance development.
    • Analyze data to gain insights and create recommendations. Use data beyond informing, to persuade, influence, challenge, and gain buy-in to decision making and evaluate solutions.
    • Implement people plan, engaging with CoEs to shape and implement solutions that meet the business challenges.
    • Successfully lead the business through the annual people cycle.
    • Champion organizational change.

    CAPABILITIES

    • HRBP (7+ years experience) with a well-rounded working knowledge of US employment law, talent strategy, performance management, workforce planning, compensation, etc. including 3+ years managing people.
    • HR Generalist willing to turn their hand to whatever is needed to achieve success.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner effectively as part of a team.
    • Strong relationship development skills with the ability to manage multiple key stakeholders across a sizeable portfolio.
    • Sound judgement, evidence and knowledge to arrive at accurate, expert and professional decisions.
    • History of working in a matrixed environment helpful.
    • Ability to influence change, achieving quality outcomes through organization and prioritization.
    • Bachelors degree in HR or related field
    • HR Related Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) preferred.
