Heartland is currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join their team.

Job Summary

The Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer role involves planning, developing, executing, and automating tests to ensure product quality. Responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements, and tracking quality assurance metrics. The ideal candidate will collaborate in a Scrum-based agile team, supporting the planning, design, and execution of system testing with a goal to deliver a high-quality user experience.

Duties

Manage quality assurance projects ensuring products are tested and validated based on customer needs
Work in an Agile environment
Develop and maintain automated testing suites and tools for web products
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
Create detailed test plans and cases
Provide mentoring and leadership
Participate in reviews and feedback sessions
Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements
Attend Scrum Meetings
Suggest Automation Tooling improvements to Executive Leadership teams

Job Requirements

BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Web Systems, or relevant experience in QA
6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
5+ years using Testing Tools like Selenium, Jasmine, Cucumber, RSpec, Postman
3+ years experience in DevOps Deployment Practices
Solid understanding of QA testing concepts and processes
Experience with Scripting Languages like JavaScript, Ruby, Python, PowerShell, jQuery
Knowledge of Testing Methods: White box, Black box, Integration testing
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
