    *LVN Needed in Lubbock , TX
    Contract : 13 weeksshift : 8hrs Evenings and Nights
    Pay :$28/hr Job Requirements**• Licensed to practice Nursing in Texas (LVN)**• 1 year, but preferably 2+ years as a direct care nurse**• Competent in advanced skills such as gastrostomy tubes/enteral feedings, Foley**catheters, tracheostomies, etc.
    • Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team.

    As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting with various medical procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
    • Perform diagnostic evaluations and assessments
    • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team
    • Assist with procedures such as catheterization and aseptic technique
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
    • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
    • Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures
    • Provide basic life support in emergency situations Qualifications:
    • Valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of TX
    • Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
    • Proficient in using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks
    • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
    • Familiarity with acute pain management techniques
    • Ability to perform dialysis procedures is a plus
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
