The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for all departmental functions aligned with the mission and vision of PM Pediatrics.Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and administrative support for providers patients and office operations
- Obtain medical history patient vital signs intake prepare patients radiological procedures take x-rays following established procedures patient care safety ensure equipment good working condition compliance applicable laws regulations maintain document daily quality control radiology equipment start shift assist processing laboratory testing samples routine QA testing apply splints ace wraps DME devices on patients provide patient crutches proper use education be integral part patient care team keep exam x-ray room stocked adequate supplies contribute team effort accomplishing related results as needed maintain safe secure healthy work environment by following enforcing standards procedures maintains patient confidence protects operations keeping confidential in compliance HIPAA regulations enhances health practice reputation accepting ownership accomplishing new challenging requests exploring opportunities add value job accomplishments assisting patients complaints taking active role service recovery when needed h3 Qualifications/h3
- Graduated from Radiologic Technologist program li Knowledge of medical practice terminology clinics processes procedures ability sound reasoning judgment act calmly emergencies ability effectively communicate verbally nonverbally knowledge digital imaging knowledge electronic health records eCW preferred/ol/p>
