Senior Estimator Anticipated range of time to obtain proficiency in this position: 4-6 years Average project size of $150,000 with minimal supervision Completion of multiple projects over $1MM with executive oversight Display an attitude and aptitude to grow the RCI book of business Occasional travel may be required.
Ability to act as an RCI representative Ability to discuss bid strategy at weekly maintenance meeting Mentor estimating assistant and estimators on projects Ability to manage estimator and estimating assistant pipelines Obtain and update vendor/supplier costs/quotes for estimates.
Assist in maintaining a current database of costs to ensure the most accurate pricing for suppliers and subcontractors. Process improvement recommendations made to Estimating Manager Ensure a high level of communication between operation managers, business developers, marketing and estimators Ability to customize bid build based on unique bid requirements (e.g. extensive horticulture packages, irregular frequencies, uncommon service requirements, etc.)Successful implementation of goals set by self and manager Willingness to relocate is preferred but not requiredJob Type:
