Maxar is seeking a Custodian to provide cleaning services for our office located in Ypsilanti, MI. This is a position that will interact with all employees and work closely with other custodial team members.
**Responsibilities:**
Vacuum, dust and wet mop floors, stairs and stair risers.
Empty and sanitize receptacles following all safety guidelines for handling of waste.
Clean mirrors, interior glass, and entrance way glass.
Clean and restock restrooms.
Clean showers in fitness center.
Dust stairway hand rails.
Move and arrange furnishings within rooms for cleaning purposes.
Fill soap dispensers.
Move cleaning equipment and supplies between floors.
Report items in need of repair to facilities maintenance tech and/or manager.
Clean elevators and tracks including polishing the stainless
High dust vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Maintain an inventory of supplies according to instructions.
Perform all duties in a safe and conscientious manner.
Report all work related accidents or illnesses immediately.
Interact in a responsible manner with Supervisors, co-workers and clients.
Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
**Minimum Requirements:**
Must be a U.S. citizen
Requires at least a GED or High School diploma.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
**Preferred Requirements:**
Must be able to work in a team environment, effectively communicating with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and facility managers.
Must be able to follow instructions.
