Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Nursing Manager (RN) Surgical Services for our 360+ bed acute care facility in Palm Springs, CA.

The ideal candidate will have a CA RN License and at least 3 years of clinical experience in Surgical Services, along with 2 years of progressive management experience in surgical services area(s).

A Bachelor's Degree is required, and an MSN is preferred. CNOR certification is also preferred.

Palm Springs is a wonderful, vibrant destination-style resort location ("Playground of the Presidents")


Responsibilities:

• Oversees the daily operations of the surgical services department, ensuring quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
• Manages staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and development.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure coordinated patient care and effective communication.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and monitors compliance with regulations and standards.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment for staff and patients.

Qualifications:

• Current CA RN License (upon hire)
• Minimum 3 years clinical hospital experience in Surgical Services
• Minimum 2 years progressive management experience in surgical services area(s)
• Bachelor's Degree required, MSN preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
