Web Developer
NYC-Based Healthcare Ad Agency
2-day onsite Hybrid
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000
NOTE
: To be considered, candidates must have previous advertising experience (preferably in pharma/Veeva) and experience with emails, banner ads, Google ads, and websites.
Our client is looking for a junior to mid-level software developer who works independently on complex tasks, implements features, and solves problems within a defined scope, while still relying on senior developers for more complex architecture decisions and mentorship. They focus on expanding coding skills, assisting senior developers on projects, writing basic code, testing functionalities, and troubleshooting minor issues.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Programming Languages: Basic to mid-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiar with Veeva (Vault + IRA)
• Responsive Design: Understanding of responsive web design principles to ensure websites work well on various devices.
• Version Control Systems: Knowledge of version control tools such as Git to manage changes to the project codebase.
• SEO: Understanding of basic SEO principles to ensure that web pages are optimized for search engines can be an added advantage.
• Understanding of Web Standards and Accessibility: Awareness of web standards set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and principles of web accessibility to make sites usable for all people.
Skills:
• Skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously, often with tight deadlines.
• Experience with Google ads, emails, banner development, and websites
•Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during website development and deployment.
•High attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency in all code elements.
•Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and potentially clients. This includes the ability to describe technical issues in simple terms.
