    100% Remote

    3 month contract, likely to extend for 6+ month, ongoing.

    Overview of the Role: The Lead ERP Software Engineer will play a crucial role throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating with team members across departments to plan, design, build, and test high-quality solutions that meet both functional and technical standards. The role offers a unique opportunity to drive significant upgrades within the organization and to contribute to specialized project teams post-project completion.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain productive relationships with essential internal stakeholders.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced software engineers.
    • Apply expert problem-solving skills to complex technical challenges.
    • Offer technical direction and support to peers.
    • Engage directly in hands-on development activities using ERP software platforms.
    • Collaborate with analysts, architects, and project managers to produce detailed technical documentation.
    • Perform sophisticated IT tasks independently.

    • Adapt to rapidly changing priorities and tasks.

    Technical Proficiencies:

    • Proven experience with ERP software versions, particularly focusing on development environments and toolsets.
    • Proficient with ERP development tools and platforms, including report and data access design aids.
    • Skilled in ERP-based orchestration, user experience enhancements, business functions, and publishing tools.
    • Ability to construct complex data queries and manage database interactions proficiently.
    • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, system development life cycle, and release management.
    • Deep knowledge of database design principles and interface architecture with a focus on system resilience and data integrity.
    • Broad comprehension of multiple technology frameworks, business goals, and strategic objectives.
    • Capable of handling all facets of development from requirement analysis to solution design and support post-launch.
    • Ready to adopt new technology innovations and streamline business processes.

    Toolset Exposure:

    • Familiarity with a range of development tools and environments, such as:
    • Cloud solutions like Oracle Cloud, Azure, and AWS.
    • Integration tools like IBM App Connect Pro, MuleSoft, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
    • APIs and Services: REST, SOAP, OAuth 2.0, JSON, XML, XSLT.
    • Programming and scripting languages: Python, Groovy, SQL.
    • Development and testing tools: Postman, JDeveloper, Visual Studio, Git.
    • Experience with EDI systems and other integration technologies.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 10 years' direct experience, ideally with extensive knowledge of specific ERP tools and technologies.
    • Demonstrated capability to foster strong relationships, embrace change, and lead with integrity.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to pushing creative boundaries within a team setting.
    • An advocate for diversity and critical thinking within the workplace.
    • Educational background: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience backed by professional certifications.
