Description

IntePros is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Governance and Lineage Specialist to join our team for an exciting project focused on data governance and lineage, with a particular emphasis on Rocket Software data applications. This role will involve working closely with our team to onboard data into Solidatus and/or Rocket, while also conducting analysis and development tasks related to data lineage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the data governance and lineage project, with a primary focus on Rocket Software data applications.
• Utilize your expertise in data lineage to onboard data into Solidatus and/or Rocket, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct analysis on data lineage processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data governance policies, procedures, and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data governance and lineage, with a focus on Rocket Software data applications.
• Experience with onboarding data into Solidatus and/or Rocket is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct detailed analysis on data lineage processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, or Mainframe is a big plus.
• Familiarity with data governance tools such as Collibra or Informatica is acceptable as secondary skills.
• Willingness to work onsite 3 days per week in Pittsburgh, with flexibility for remote work as needed.
