    Join the JETS team as we help NASA Johnson Space Center with its digital transformation.

    You'll be part of the team developing the 21st Century Digital Engineering and Product Life Cycle Management system based on PTC's Creo & Windchill product lines (JSC Design Information Infrastructure - known as JEDII).

    You will be joining our team with JETS II Teammate Company, Nexus Solutions.

    As a Windchill Administrator/Developer, you will:

    Work with the NASA/JETS team of engineering users and Windchill developers to:

    Work closely with the engineering system engineer to ensure that the JEDII Systems supports all engineering data products as they are developed and integrated and will support a full lifecycle solution both at JSC and in future efforts with other centers

    Define/develop customizations to the Windchill product line

    Architect solutions to user needs as well as to overall system implementation (e.g., user controls, information security)

    Implement, integrate, and deploy an enterprise management system with emphasis on engineering data information infrastructure that consists of design models and all associated engineering documentation

    Develop and update governing software requirements documents for the JEDII (Windchill) system

    Perform application server maintenance


    This will include:
    Communicating and working with users and user groups on the true functionality needed as part of the customization/implementation team

    Working with various engineering representatives on defining their specific areas

    Assisting in the planning and completion of deployment activities

    Deploying Windchill software updates and upgrades

    Performing other duties as required

    Qualifications

    Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a related area and normally possess 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

    Demonstrated expertise with Windchill development, customization, and/or administration

    Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Strong analytical skills

    Use of Agile software development principles

    Knowledge of enterprise systems in the Cloud

    Knowledge of installation and configuration of Cloud based servers and services


    Experience with:
    Digital engineering / PLM system requirements definition

    Architecture, customization, implementation, and deployment for large software systems

    Windows system administration

    Database systems (SQL Server)

    User requirements definition

    Networking concepts

    Document management systems

    Process analysis and re-engineering

    Installation and configuration of servers

    Full text search engines

    Deployment using load files for files and code


    Requisition Preferences:
    Experience with ThingWorx/Navigate from Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC)

    Experience with WTPart/CAD integration and product structure

    Experience with Creo 8 or above

    Network license management (SAML)

    JAVA programming

    Web development
