The need for this current position is cover to call outs, techs wanting time off, and/or to help with weekend staff.

These shifts range from 6 a.m.

to 7:
30 p.m. Monday to Friday, Weekend hours are from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.


Job Purpose:

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A.

programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.


Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
NoneMINIMUM LICENSURE/


CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered nuclear technologist with either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear) ARRT (N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB-CNMT)

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS Certified. Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.#IND789#GD#LI-POST
