ValidiFI Inc is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to be responsible for Azure Cloud infrastructure design, maintenance, and performance. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will join the infrastructure team and have the ability to make a big impact through your contributions. This position reports directly to the SVP, Information Technology.

Core Capabilities

• Strong experience managing Azure Cloud Environments
• Strong Windows Server management including provisioning, securing, troubleshooting and performance optimizing
• Familiarity with IIS and SQL configuration and troubleshooting
• Manage backups, restores and SQL HA failovers
• Ability to support users and customers with support issues
• Practical understanding of network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, application gateways
• Ability to manage multiple projects with good communication on status and issues
• Analyzing, architecting, and troubleshooting system needs of the organization
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a small team

Preferable Experience

• Small company or startup culture past experience
• Familiarity with change management process and controls
• SOC2 Type 2 and PCI Compliance environmental controls
• End User management including laptop rollouts, new user onboarding, Office 365 including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.
• Ability to professionally interact with customer IT departments for troubleshooting issues
• Ability to work with and support in-house software development team and understand requirements
• Training or directing users on the correct use of software and hardware used by the company

Requirements

• 3+ Years managing Windows servers in any environment
• 2+ Years experience managing an Azure environment
• 2+ Years experience managing Office 365
• Hybrid schedule with on-site work in the Alpharetta, GA office is required
• Some night and weekend maintenance work as required
